TEHRAN – Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Friday that Moscow is determined to maintain the Iran nuclear deal jointly with other parties, Tele Trader reported, citing local media.
“Tehran’s approach confirms its intention to keep the agreement alive which Russia fully supports,” said Zakharova during a press briefing. “We continue to work actively to preserve the JCPOA, including the cooperation with the other parties to the agreement,” she added.
She stressed that “Iran is by far the most monitored country in the world by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),” adding that the organization’s chief also “once again confirms Iran’s strict compliance with its obligations under the JCPOA.”
